About BLS
BLS was founded by builders who know what it is like to have years on the tools and still get stuck on the paperwork. We help you work out what to apply for, use the experience you already have and get the application ready without it taking over your work or family time. We started with QBCC applications in Queensland and now support builders and trades in every Australian state and territory.
Who we are
BLS combines building experience with application specialists who know how to get difficult paperwork moving.
Going through the process personally, then helping other builders and trades, made one thing clear: years of real work do not automatically turn into an approved application.
Forms, referees, qualifications and project records still need to meet the regulator's requirements. BLS was built to take that work off your plate and keep the application moving while you keep working.
BLS brings together people who understand licensing, project records, application documents and the practical questions around RPL. Your specialist checks what is missing, helps collect the right material and keeps the application organised.
The aim is simple: use the experience you have, do the paperwork properly and keep the process easy to understand.
How we think
We respect the work you already know, confirm the licence first and only add RPL or training when the application genuinely needs it.
We do not talk to capable trades and builders like they are starting from zero. The job is to help turn real experience into an application that makes sense.
Forms, paperwork and RPL should follow the licence you actually need. They should not drive it.
RPL can be useful, but it is not the whole application. We only bring it forward where a genuine qualification gap needs attention.
We build the strongest accurate application we can. The regulator makes the final licence decision.
