Get your QBCC licence application sorted.

Whether you are stepping up to a builder licence, going out on your own as a trade contractor or applying to supervise building work, BLS checks what you can apply for and helps prepare the QBCC application.

How builder licensing works in Queensland.

The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) licenses building work in Queensland, and you generally need a licence before contracting building work valued over $3,300. The class determines what work the licence covers. An RTO decides any RPL outcome. QBCC assesses the resulting qualification evidence, experience, referees and any financial or business information before deciding the licence application.
